New ccTLD Update | .ET and .PL

.ET – Registrations now opened

The Ethiopian Registry, Ethio Telecom, has now opened registrations of .ET domains to foreign applicants; until now registrations under this TLD were restricted to local applicants only.

.PL – Introduction of domain name lock

The Polish Registry, NASK, has launched a service for domain name locks. This service provides an extra layer of protection for domain names, at the registry level, against unauthorized changes. This service has a yearly fee.
