This TLD is operated by Registry Africa, (the “Registry” or “Registry Operator”). The Registry imposes certain conditions for the registration of domain names in its TLDs. As set out in our terms and conditions, by placing an order with us you unconditionally agree to be bound by these conditions as follows:

1. Registrant agrees to abide by .AFRICA registry policies .
2. The registrant is responsible for ensuring that the use of a domain name, where that domain name is a two-letter label that corresponds to a country code described in the ISO3166-1 Alpha-2 standard, avoids confusion with the corresponding country code. Furthermore, the registrant must not, personally or through its business dealings, falsely imply that it is affiliated with a government or country-code manager if such affiliation, endorsement or sponsorship does not exist
3. Registrant must comply with the provisions of its agreement with the Registrar.

Registry Operator imposes the following obligations upon resellers of Registry Operator’s domain names:

1. Reseller is bound by, and will comply with all obligations in the Registry-Registrar Agreement.
2. Reseller will not omit or do anything that would be a breach of the Registry-Registrar Agreement, and in particular will be obliged by clauses 6 (Warranties), 8 (General Obligations of Registrar), 13 (Transfer between Registrars), 14 (Non-Solicitation of Registrants), 15 (Registrar’s Other Obligations), 16 (Control of Resellers), 17 (Privacy and Personal Information), and 18 (Intellectual Property Rights) of the Registry-Registrar Agreement.
3. Reseller will comply with the .AFRICA registry policies, and Code of Practice (if applicable), as amended from time to time.
4. Reseller shall indemnify, defend and hold the Registry, Registry Service Provider, as well as their, directors, officers, employees, contractors, agents, and any other representatives harmless against any claims, losses, liabilities, damages, or legal costs related to or arising out of any breach of the Registry-Registrar Agreement and in particular:
   1. The reseller’s infringement of applicable data protection law or of any person’s right to privacy, whether associated with a breach of clause 17 (Privacy and Personal Information) or not; or
   2. The reseller’s infringement of any person’s Intellectual Property Rights.
5. Reseller shall impose these obligations on its resellers in turn
