Should you wish to register .swiss names with us or transfer .swiss names to our management, the Registry Operator, The Swiss Confederation, imposes certain conditions. As set out in our Terms and Conditions, by placing an order with us you unconditionally agree to be bound by these conditions as follows:
- Registrant shall adhere to and comply with the Registry Policies adopted by the Registry Operator as amended from time to time.
- Registrant consents to the collection and use of Personal Data for the purposes of providing Registry Services. With respect to third-party individuals whose Personal Data is provided by the Registrant to the Registry System, the Registrant represents and guarantees that they have informed such third-party individuals of the intended use by the Registry Operator of their Personal Data.
- Registrant acknowledges and agrees that (i) the Registrant is fully responsible for the registration and use of the registered domain name; and that (ii) the Registrant shall indemnify, to the maximum extent permitted by law, defend and hold harmless the Registry Operator as well as the Registry Operator directors, officers, employees and agents from and against any claim, damages, liabilities, costs and expenses arising out of or in relation to Registrant’s domain name registration and/or use.
- Registrants acknowledges and agrees that the Registry Operator reserves the right to change the status of the domain name during the resolution of a dispute or a compliance procedure (e.g. put on hold, lock), as well as to deny, modify, block, cancel or transfer any registration that it deems necessary, in its sole discretion, in order to:
- protect the integrity, security, and stability of the Registry System;
- comply with all applicable laws and regulations or with any dispute resolution process;
- avoid any liability of the Registry, its affiliates, members, subsidiaries, officers, directors, and employees;
- stop or prevent any violations of any terms and conditions of this Agreement;
- correct mistakes made by the Registry or any registrar in relation to a domain name registration; and
- ensure compliance with ICANN and/or Registry Policies.
