.VOTE and .VOTO – Removal of restrictions

The registry operator for .VOTE and .VOTO, Monolith Registry, has announced that from 4 September 2019 these gTLDs will become unrestricted with the eligibility requirements being removed. Previously, registrants were required to have a bona fide intention to use the domain name during the current/relevant election cycle, in connection with a clearly identified political/democratic process at the time of registration, however this will no longer be the case.

.SHOP – New registration pricing promotion

Registry operator GMO Registry, Inc. has announced that it is running a pricing promotion on new registrations of .SHOP domains from 1 September 2019 to 30 September 2019.
