Valideus was formed to supply consultancy and management solutions to brand and community registry operators.

We help new gTLD applicants at every stage from initial application and idea generation through to front-end registry management, and we do it exceptionally well as testified by the 121 applications that we have supported to date. Of the first round applications with a 100% pass mark – 96% were from Valideus. Our scores were 2.94 above the average.

We managed new TLD round one applications for clients from a diverse range of industry sectors, including global leaders in e-commerce, banking, consultancy, fashion, food, insurance, media, software and travel.

We have supported over a dozen registries with consultancy and policy advice on subjects from qualified launch programmes to the protection of rights. Our validation and verification services have helped registries, including .XXX, .LONDON, .BRUSSELS, .VLAANDEREN, .WALES, and .CYMRU to “get the right names into the right hands”.

Nick Wood and Lorna Gradden, the directors and co-founders of Valideus, have worked in the domain name industry since founding Net Searchers, the first registrar in the world dedicated to working with brand owners, in 1995. Together with the team, they bring in-depth knowledge of the domain name industry, in part gained from the management of Com Laude, a leading ICANN accredited registrar. Valideus is a subsidiary of Com Laude Group, a company owned by Nick Wood, Lorna Gradden and private equity firm, Vespa Capital.

What our clients say about us:

“Valideus is a prominent voice at ICANN. They have great expertise, they are smart and reactive to what is going on, with other brands and with ICANN”

“Valideus have more connections than the other players, they also have more knowledge, both in terms of ICANN regulations and advice on how to use gTLDs in the future. The other service providers just don’t have this level of knowledge, nor are they as helpful.”
